One birthstone just not enough? After adding the above to your cart, you can then add more birthstones by selecting your favourite options below. Add as many as you would like. Or click the button below and add an extra pendant to your chain as well.
3 SIMPLE STEPS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I've ordered only a wax kit - how do I finish my order?
If you have received your kit as a gift, or if you have ordered just the kit, I highly recommend sending the kit back to me with the impressions you've taken before proceeding with your order, and getting in touch via email to let me know you’ve done so. That way we can discuss the next steps.
Can I get multiple pieces of jewellery made from one piece of wax?
Yes, but only with a master mould.
To create your jewelry an ancient process called lost wax casting is used, which basically means that the piece of wax is melted away and replaced with the metal of your choice. What this means is that one piece of wax equals one piece of finished jewelry, and therefore means it’s impossible to duplicate.
The only way for me to duplicate the print is to create a master mould. This is silicon rubber that is poured around the finished piece of jewellery to make an inverted mould, that once cured, can be injected with wax over and over again so we can exactly duplicate this piece of jewellery. It means that not only can you make as many of that piece of jewellery as you’d like, but it also means that should you ever loose that piece of jewellery we can quickly duplicate it. It is an additional cost, and can be added on at any stage of the making process. You can find it here.
Can you melt down my old jewellery to make a fingerprint piece?
For most of my pieces, this is not possible, simply because I send my waxes to be cast by a casting house. They cast multiple pieces from multiple customers at one time, and cannot ensure that your specific metal would be used in your specific piece. I can have your metal refined and provide a rebate to put toward your order, and I can usually use your gemstones though, so if you'd like to discuss this please send me an email.
I have some fingerprints that I’ve taken, but they weren’t taken using your kit. Could you make a piece using them?
It really depends on the material used. Please get in touch with a photo, information about the material and where you got it from, and perhaps we can make something work.
Can I take 2 separate single sided prints and join them together to make a double sided print?
At the moment, not this isn’t an option. Because this requires me melting 2 pieces of wax together, there is a chance I could damage the fingerprints prints in the process. Additionally, I measure out the weight of the wax (because that helps me determine the weight and cost of the metal) so essentially we're doubling the amount of wax and therefore weight of the pendant by joining them, and I would need to increase the total cost of the jewellery. Prints are rarely the same size too, so I would actually need to add wax to make it look ok and ultimately it would be heavier and thick. Please watch the above video on how to take a double sided impression.
I just can’t seem to get a good print. Any tips?
I definitely recommend watching the video above, and watch carefully at 2:17 to learn how to warm the wax and at 2:37 to see the texture the wax should be before you take an impression. If you're having trouble I recommend using the warm water method as this warms the wax all the way through.
I don't have a return post label in my kit. What should I do?
If you are an Australian based customer, please get in touch and I will email through your return post label. If you are a customer based outside of Australia, please note that returning the parcel to me is your responsibility, and can be done through your local postage provider. Please email me to find out the correct address to mail your return wax kit to.
If you'd rather I organise return of the parcel, this can be done through DHL, but please expect there to be a hefty fee to this service.
I want to modify my order (change to it to gold, add a gemstone, make it a custom etc). Is that possible?
You are welcome to upgrade your order at (almost) any stage of this process. Once the fingerprint has been cast in metal though, changes cannot be made. If you want to make a change, please get in touch via email as soon as possible.
How do I create a “lip” on my fingerprint piece?
Please watch the video at 7:43 - the method for making the lip is show here.
Can I take multiple impressions on the one piece of jewellery?
Absolutely. Watch the video from 6:36 to see all the options, or have an experiment with the waxes and see what you can come up with.
How long until I receive my finished piece of jewellery?
Typically it takes 4-6 weeks from the time I receive your wax impressions in the mail to when I mail the finished piece back to you. I can do my best to work toward a specific date if I have the details before hand thought so please send me an email about that. These pieces are all handmade so please keep in mind that good things take time.
How do I take a double sided dog nose print?
The only way to make a double sided impression is to press evenly into both sides of the wax at the same time, so taking a double sided dog impression is quite difficult.
The only way my customers consistently manage to achieve this is by taking polymer clay moulds of their pets' prints, and then pressing the wax between those moulds. It does require purchasing polymer clay, and you can find information on how to create a polymer clay mould on the pinned post on my Instagram profile. Here is a link and you can find the exact moment on how the double sided impresion is created using my wax at the 0:58 mark, but I'd recommend watching the whole thing.
