Use this listing to Add a Fingerprint Pendant to an existing open order. Please either provide your order number at checkout or only include this item in your cart if you already have another fingerprint piece added.

You can use this listing to create 2 different sized pendants on the one chain - for example, add the regular size fingerprint pendant with chain to your cart, and then using this listing, add the mini pendant for 2 pendants on one chain of different sizes.

If you have purchased in the past and currently have a Kirsty Lief necklace and wish to add to it, but do not currently have an open order, please do not add this item to your cart. Select the full necklace item and then choose “No Chain”.

This item does not come with a kit, and is simply an order upgrade for current open orders.

If you have purchase just the wax kit, please do not order this item to complete your order. This item will not include postage, a chain, packaging etc. It is designed to simply be an additional pendant to an open order.

+ PRODUCT DETAILS

• This is an add on for an existing OPEN order only. Please provide your order number at checkout.
• A fingerprint pendant in sterling silver or solid 9ct yellow or rose gold (no chain)
• Regular organic shape approx 15-20mm or mini 10-15mm
• You can add stamped discs, or a letter stamped onto the front or back of each pendant
• The fingerprint can be double sided or single sided

This item can be purchased for use with adults, children, infants + pets (I have taken impressions from cats, dogs + ferrets), and is safe for each.

As 1 piece of wax = 1 piece of finished jewellery, and is melted in the process of creating the jewellery, if you wish to duplicate a wax print, you will need to purchase a Master Mould. Please get in touch with any questions about this process, or head to the FAQ page for more information.

+ THE PROCESS

1. Once your order has been placed, you will receive a Fingerprint Kit in the mail with instructions on how to get the best print.

2. There are 3 pieces of wax per fingerprint piece ordered - ensure that you use all 3 as it's good for me to have options. An addressed return post label will be included in your package so that you can send your prints back to me.

3. Once I receive your impressions back, I will review them and be in touch only if there are any issues. To create the fingerprint in metal, I use traditional lost wax casting and as each piece is handmade, it takes approximately 4-6 weeks from when I receive the finished wax impressions back from you until you receive a dispatch notification.

+ TERMS + CONDITIONS

1. These pendants are very organic in nature and as a result, each piece will vary in shape, size and finish. No 2 pieces are ever the same.

2. I can only make a finished piece as good as the print you take, so it is very important that you read the instructions carefully + reach out if you have any questions about the process. I am always happy to look at photos of the waxes before you send them back to me.

3. I can improve and fix small imperfections, but how you take the impression is mostly how it will turn out in metal. If the impressions are not taken correctly or are unable to be used, you will be charged $40 for your kit to be sent back to you to try again.

4. Due to the nature of lost wax casting, 1 wax print = 1 finished fingerprint. Once an order is completed I do not keep any remaining or unused waxes, so if you would like me to send them back to you with your final order please get in touch to let me know.

5. Due to fluctuating metal prices, you have 6 months from the date of purchase to complete your wax impressions and send them back. Additional fees will apply if your impressions are returned outside of this timeframe.

A note on age - whilst children under 1 do not have fully developed fingerprints, I have a specialised method for taking impressions from infants from birth, which is detailed in the instructions. Please take a moment to look at the infant impression option to familiarise yourself with the general look of these impressions before proceeding with your order.
