Ordering & Shipping
Do you make custom orders? Custom chain lengths or ring sizes?
Yes. I am able to take on custom orders, especially if they are in my style of jewellery making. If I cannot take them on, I will have some fantastic suggestions for other jewellers to help with your specific project. I am also happy to customise any products you can find on my website. Please send an email to hello@kirstylief.com with any questions.
How does your postage options work?
If you are ordering within Australia, free shipping is available on orders over $550 and included in the price of all fingerprint pieces, and for orders less than that amount it's a flat rate of $8 for regular and $12 for express shipping. Please note that this does not mean that the order will be made faster, just that it will be expressed rather than sent via regular parcel post. Postage of the kit to you and postage of the final item of jewellery is included in the total cost, as well as a return label sticker provided in your kit so that you can send the kit back to me.
Do you ship internationally?
For fingerprint items - you are welcome to purchase them, but will be required to organise postage of the wax kits back to me at your own cost. There will not be a return post satchel or label provided in your kit. International customers will also need to be aware of their own countries customs as well as. If you are an international customer, I will be in touch via email prior to dispatching your kit to ensure you are aware of these details and with further information on how to return your kit.
For silver items and kits, I always dispatch via Australia Post, and for gold items or on request, I send with DHL. Send me an email for further details on delivery times as they vary between destinations: hello@kirstylief.com
When will my order be shipped?
I try to get orders shipped as soon as possible, but please check individual product listings for production timeframes. For all fingerprint pieces, I try dispatch the kit within 48hours of receiving your kit. For the best idea on time frame for the final piece to arrive to you, this will depend largely on how long it takes you to finish taking the impressions. The best way to get a time frame is to add the following together: your time to take the prints + postage to me + 4-6 weeks from when I receive the prints back from you + postage back to you = how long the finished piece will take. If you urgently need a piece, please contact me to discuss.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been paid for, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received. You will receive multiple emails from me to let you know the status of your order as it progresses, and you will receive a dispatch email once the order has been shipped with a tracking number.
