You probably have some questions

How does this process work?

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a Fingerprint Kit in the mail with instructions on how to get the best print. This is usually sent with 1-2 days of placing your order.

There are 3 pieces of wax per fingerprint piece ordered - ensure that you use all 3 as it's good for me to have options. An addressed return post label will be included in your package so that you can send your prints back to me.

Once I receive your impressions back, I will review them and be in touch only if there are any issues. Then I work my magic and send you the final piece of jewellery.

How long does it take to receive my jewellery?

To create the fingerprint in metal, I use traditional lost wax casting and as each piece is handmade, it takes approximately 4-6 weeks from when I receive the finished wax impressions back from you until you receive a dispatch notification.

Can I get multiple pieces of jewellery made from one piece of wax?

The master mould is designed to make exact replicas of the one print. The way it works is once I have the print made in metal, then a silicone mould is made of that metal print, and then duplicates can be easily made. The master mould does add a bit of time, but it means that multiples can be made years down the track. You can find it here.

Can you make a fingerprint piece in a difference carat of gold?

I can make any piece on my website in sterling silver, 9ct or 18ct yellow or rose gold. I can also make a few items in 14ct gold, but please be aware that 14ct isn’t all that common and as such I cannot source any items that have a chain, as 14ct gold chain is not something readily available in Australia.

I can also offer white gold in 9ct or 18ct, but please be aware that white gold will likely incur a small extra fee, as it needs to be rhodium plated to make it look white (white gold naturally has a grey tone). It will need to be replated throughout it’s life.

I don’t currently offer any other plating options or services.

How do I work out my ring size?

I currently have ring sizers that come standard in every fingerprint kit. If you are unsure of your ring size, you can check this video here for other options, head to your local jeweller to be correctly sized, or get in touch and we can organise a ring sizer to be mailed to you.

For pet prints, what is better, a nose print or a paw print?

It really depends on you and your pet. If your pet is willing to have a piece of wax pressed into their nose, then I would suggest going with the nose. The details you can get from the nose and paw are beautiful and both make a lovely print.

Don't just take my word for it though...
